  • Private entry and porch
  • 1 bathroom
  • 1 bedroom
  • Kitchenette
  • Walk to town
Thanks for checking out our brand new loft, which the owners designed themselves. Construction finished in mid-2020, so it’s sparkly clean and in awesome shape. It’s a perfect spot for couples who are excited to explore the National Park or the downtown district, and the immediate neighborhood has everything you need for a fun visit.

Within blocks of the home are the best street tacos in town, a great Thai restaurant, and two of Estes Park’s best breweries. You can also walk a block and a half to Lake Estes to fish or just hang out. The convenience can’t be beat.

The owners, who live in the attached home, wanted ot create an inviting space that makes you feel like you’re high up in the air. They are avid rock climbers, after all! The massive second-floor picture windows offer commanding views over our neighborhood to the mountains of Lumpy Ridge and the twinkly lights of the Stanley Hotel.

The space features an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, so it feels big for its 600-ish square feet. The kitchen/dining/living area encourages socialization and it’s got a funky, modern vibe. At the same time, the cozy bedroom in the rear of the building is quiet as can be.

After a long day in the National Park, enjoy the loft’s speedy fiber-based wifi — one of the first homes in Estes to have it — as you stream your favorite shows on the big 4K smart TV.

While the neighborhood is residential, it’s frequently overrun with elk, deer and other wildlife that venture over after drinking from Lake Estes, about a block away. Animal sightings are common, so be ready.

All access is plowed and flat, so, you will be fine year round with whatever car you choose. We do recommend AWD however.

Note that this is a private guest suite in an accessory unit above the garage. It’s attached to the owners’ home, and they live there year round. There are no shared spaces, however, and they give guests privacy.

Also note that the fully stocked kitchenette has a 2 burner cooktop but no stove. It does feature a microwave, fridge and freezer, and assortment of pots and pans, cooking utensils, glasses, cutlery and plates.

A FEW REVIEWS

This beautiful home is the perfect place to relax after busy days in the hustle and bustle of Estes Park and RMNP. The sunrise views are definitely worth waking up early for! We loved the location – only a short drive to town but still far enough away to escape some of the hubbub that comes with a town bordering a wildly popular National Park.

Hannah

We did some hiking in the area, cooked a nice meal for the two of us, and we saw an amazing sunrise without even leaving the bed. There’s some amazing photography on display, some great books, and a the views off the deck were beautiful!!

Craig

Check-in was straightforward and easy. The studio was everything we hoped for and more. The little touches like the coffee, books, photographs, binoculars, guest sign in book made it even better. It was so cozy and the BED WAS AMAZING. Waking up to that mountain view in the morning was just the icing on the cake. I can’t recommend this place enough – we will definitely be back.
Morgan

The views from this porch are simply incredible. The hot tub under the stars at night is a must do after a nice day of hiking at RMNP! The location is perfect, so close to Estes which has so much to do. This bed is crazy comfortable, one of the best I’ve slept in. Nathan’s place is extremely clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. His communication is off the charts, which was nice since this was our first trip to Colorado.

NOTE BEFORE BOOKING

On-site Owner

Note that owners do live on site in the attached home. You will be renting a fully private and separate unit above their garage with no shared spaces. You may see them as you come and go, however.

No pets, no AC

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the Loft of Leisure AirBnB apartment. And like nearly every other home in Estes Park, there is no air conditioning. Evening mountain air cools things quickly.

Stairs

The Loft of Leisure is located on the second floor, and you will need to climb a flight of stairs to access it. The stairs are on the exterior of the garage.
