This gorgeous ground floor apartment is nestled in pine trees on the side of Prospect Mountain with views from the front patio to Lumpy Ridge. It’s half a block from the edge of downtown & a 5 min drive to the main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Don’t fight for parking & enjoy Estes year round!

There’s a lot to love about this unit — recent updates include luxurious memory foam mattress toppers and a huge smart TV loaded with Netflix, Sling and Amazon Prime. The best part its utterly perfect location. If you stay here, you can leave your car behind and walk to pretty much everywhere in downtown Estes Park along the banks of the scenic Big Thompson River. This wonderful rental is not smack dab in the middle of downtown; instead, it’s a half block away from the edge, and three blocks away from the center. That means you get all the benefit of being downtown without the noise and congestion.
Within a block are two breweries, a Chinese restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a liquor store, a donut shop, a chicken food truck, a gondola ride up a mountain, and two great family friendly parks. You can send the kids a block away to play at Fun City, which has a giant slide, mini golf, a bungee trampoline, bumper cars, bumper boats and go-cart racing. The Open Air Adventure Park is across the street, and features an aerial obstacle course. If you’re up for some sight seeing, you can walk a half block and board the tramway to the top of Prospect Mountain, where you have a panoramic view of Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the entire continental divide. Some of these attractions are closed seasonally, so please check them out on the Internet. Within another block or two are bars, more restaurants, a winery, and a movie theater.

The unit is located on a side road so you can shortcut the traffic when you drive into Rocky Mountain National Park, which is just minutes away. The free summer shuttle bus that goes all over town has a stop a half a block away, so you can board it and get around for free.
As for the cozy space itself, once you walk inside you’re greeted with a spacious living room with a large leather couch, gas fireplace, and beautiful pine furnishings. Speedy WiFi is provided for free.
The open floor plan leads to a modern kitchen that’s fully equipped so you can cook your own meals. You’ll have your own fridge, oven, and pots/pans/plates/dishes. Attached to the living room is a large master bedroom suite with huge king size bed, lots of closet space and a great bathroom. Adjacent to the kitchen is a second full sized bathroom, a cozy and very quiet bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with two twin beds. You’ll also have access to a washer/dryer in a closet next to the second bathroom. The living room couch turns into a sofa bed, enabling sleeping for up to 8 (2 in a king bedroom, 2 in a queen bedroom, two in the bedroom with two smaller beds, and two on couch).
The front yard/area of the unit has mature pine trees and it’s quite likely you’ll see deer or elk mulling around and feasting on the grass. The building backs up to open space on Prospect Mountain so if you’re lucky you may spot more resident wildlife.
The place is extremely kid/family friendly. It’s a first floor unit with no stairs that’s just steps from parking.

SO cozy and you have everything you need. My husband and I spent the morning backcountry skiing up in RMNP and then enjoyed the fireplace, TV, and scrabble afterwards. The view from the condo is BEAUTIFUL as you can see mountains all around. You’re close to town, but you feel secluded

Note that this is a first floor unit. The access is super easy, as it’s steps away from the parking lot.
The home is uniquely located in relation to downtown — it’s close enough to walk, but it’s far enough away that you to avoid the hustle and bustle.
